| On February 25, 2026 at 10:24 p.m., Rescue Engine 717, Engine Tanker 717, Tanker 717, Ambulance 717, Chief 717, and Chief 717B responded along with Companies HC13, 04, 40, 13, Tower 704, Rescue Squad 729, HC Tanker 13, and Tanker 704 for a house fire on Howard Chapel Road in Unity.
The tanker fill site was established at 3309 Damascus Road, using a draft hydrant.
At 10:33 p.m., Rescue Engine 717 arrived on scene. No smoke or fire was visible from the exterior side A and crews began investigating.
Rescue Engine 717 then reported a working fire on side C at 10:33 p.m.
The Water Supply Task Force was dispatched, including Tanker 713, HC Tanker 4, HC Tanker 3, Tanker 735, and Engine 728 at 10:34 p.m.
Rapid Intervention Dispatch included Truck 734, Tower 708, HC Medic 135, and EMS705 at 10:34 p.m.
Chief 717 arrived on scene and assumed command at 10:35 p.m. Crews were knocking down the fire, and the occupant was accounted for.
The fire was extinguished and searches were negative at 10:44 p.m. Units checked for fire extension within the structure.
Chief 717B arrived with water supply operations at 10:45 p.m.
At 10:56 p.m., command held Company 17 units and Tower 704, with all other units placed in service. |
