| On March 20, 2026, at 8:06 PM, Engine 717, Tanker 717, Chief 717B, Engine 740, and Chief 704 responded to a report of an outside fire near a building on Golf View Drive.
The caller stated they could see a fire in the distance and believed a structure might be involved.
The incident was upgraded to a Barn Fire assignment at 8:10 PM, bringing additional resources including Engine 728, Engine 704, Engine 708, Tower 708, Tower 704, Rescue Squad 703, Ambulance 717, Battalion 705, Duty Chief 700, and Canteen 717.
Engine 717 arrived on the scene at the 5800 block of Riggs Road at 8:17 PM and reported visible fire.
Chief 704 established command at 8:17 PM.
Engine 717 reported at 8:19 PM that gardening supplies and two sheds were burning, and crews were applying water to control the fire.
At 8:23 PM, Engine 717 advised that the fire had been extinguished and firefighters were addressing hot spots.
All units cleared the scene at 9:31 PM. |
